Gary certainly lives up to his 5 star reviews. My dishwasher was leaking He responded quickly and repaired it . I found him to be both professional and thorough in his work and his rates are reasonable I would definitely call him again for any other appliance repairs or installations. Our fire table was malfunctioning. Two local gas appliance firms could not fix it so I contacted Valley Gas. Gary analyzed the fire table and methodically eliminated all single points of failure, localized the problem (improperly positioned thermocouple) and FIXED IT. We now have a fully functioning fire table. Needless to say, I highly recommend Valley Gas and Gary.

I say Outstanding in his field! Gary Brooks of Valley Gas recently serviced both an old and new washing machine at my rental property. He was Punctual, Professional and Persistent in diagnosing what was necessary to get both models operating! Very approachable, Communicative, with a real working knowledge in being able to Decipher problems and then to apply a solution, for the various machines! Lastly, he was very fair in his pricing. Gary's service was exceptional! Punctual and thorough, he diligently investigated our gas stove issue and saved us from replacing the whole stove. His expertise not only fixed the problem but also saved us money. He was very considerate and problem solved with us to determine a solution. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. Gary is a knowledgeable guy, very professional, who tries his best to do the best job he can. He went above and beyond fixing our gas fireplace and even helped me out with other things that needed fixing around the house (i.e. gas stove) and didn't charge me a dime extra. He genuinely wants to help. He taught me things about my fireplace that the builder never took the time to show me. Highly recommend Gary. He did a great job!

We had Gary fixed our stove, oven igniter was burnt out and was wrong part replaced by different gas company. Gary found the right part and fixed that for us. We also had him descaling our tankless water heater. Gary was very professional and knowledgeable so Valley Gas will be our go to gas repairman for any problems we have in the future. We called Gary after a couple of odd phone calls with other companies. Gary helped us out right away with our dishwasher that started to smoke. He was patient and knowledgeable and gave honest advice to help us make our decision on a replacement. He returned as planned a couple days later to install the new dishwasher. He’s really professional and also very personable, which is why we asked him back for our furnace maintenance and will do so ongoing. He’s a great contact to have. 10/10 recommend.

Gary is wonderful! And working with him to sort out some of our appliance issues & a fireplace check up was a great experience. Gary didn’t try to upsell us or promise results that he did not think were possible. He charged us the price he had quoted, there were no hidden costs. Called Gary after trying to DIY fix my hood range as I wasn't able to make any progress. Even though this wasn't his area, Gary was curious enough to come over the next day and help me out with it. Additionally he also cleaned out the dryer vent and showed us before/after pics, would definitely recommend.

My gas oven stopped working. I called Valley Gas and Gary asked for the model number over the phone reassuring me that he could fix the problem. He arrived with the replacement part at the agreed upon date and time and within half an hour my oven was working again. Gary was very knowledgeable and explained the problem with the oven to me as he worked. I also happened to mention that my hot water tank was not working properly and he offered to have a look before he left. Gary serviced the tank and it is working again. It is 19 years old and Gary will be the one I call when it is no longer salvageable. I absolutely recommend Gary for all your gas appliance repair needs.

Gary returned my call promptly and stopped by the same day to look at our gas dryer which was making a horrible noise. He came back as promised the following week with the needed parts and the dryer is good as new now! Plus he cleaned it really thoroughly when it was taken apart.

There really is no need to look elsewhere. I did, and nothing came of it. Called Gary and he was out in a few days and provided a quote the same day to replace outside gas lines. Started and finished two locations in two days. Very professional and meticulous. Would absolutely recommend!!

Our Dryer was making an awful clunking and grinding sound. We had Gary here in May 2023 and he was able to easily and effectively diagnose the problem. Besides doing a thorough clean of the inside components of the dryer, he was able to get the new parts we needed at the best available price and make the changes to fix the problem. Our dryer runs again like its new!! Gary is professional, thorough, upfront and most importantly HONEST....which these days is harder and harder to come by. We fully recommend him.

Gary ran a gas line to facilitate the hook of a new barbecue. The job was completed in a professional manner. I could tell that Gary takes great pride in his work and is very thorough. Once the gas line was completed Gary tested the barbecue to ensure it was functioning correctly. Gary is very personable and takes the time to answer all questions. I have already arranged to have him service both my furnace and gas fireplace. I have no hesitation in recommending Valley Gas.

Had Gary here to look into a funny rubbing sound in my dryer. Discovered that our dryer interior was full of lint due to dryer not vented properly to the outside. Vent terminal was jammed with lint. This could cause a fire . Gary did a full clean inside the dryer and will replace a few parts and we will be good as new! Honest and knowledgeable and friendly! Completes very reasonably $. Thx Gary! I emailed Gary and he contacted me within 2 hours. He was available to come the next day. Gary came to our house to fix our oven, the broiler was dead. He had the part on hand and did the repair within 1 hour. He was very pleasant to interact with. I do recommend his services and for sure I will keep his contact info for future uses. Gary was able to stop by to take a look at our broken furnace within about 2 hours of calling. He was upfront with pricing, quickly diagnosed the problem, and was honest and professional throughout the service call. I would recommend him to anyone who asks!

Gary came to do the installation for a new gas stove but he was quick to notice that the stove was damaged in two different areas including the gas line so the install could not be safely done. When we called the manufacturer Gary was so helpful with the technical details and pictures that supported our claim and they agreed to send us a new stove, thanks in large part to Gary’s intervention. Since he had some time he did the install for the new washer and dryer and fixed the dishwasher. Gary was AMAZING!!! We highly recommend him! Thanks so much Gary!!!

Gary came to my house today and serviced three gas fireplaces, my furnace and my humidifier. All of these appliances look and work like new, thanks to Gary. I’m so impressed with the time spent and his attention to detail. He also painted the firebox of one fireplace because the paint was chipping off. It looks beautiful now. I have used this service on more than one occasion. Gary was excellent. Each time, He arrived on time and got the job done in a timely fashion! There is nothing better than a contractor answering the phone right away and arranging a time to complete the job. My gas dryer wasn't heating up enough to dry my clothes without multiple cycles. Gary was able to troubleshoot the problem quickly and remedy it with a simple fix! Gary is an absolute gem. The repair started with my oven, and it lead to my pool heater. Even though there were some issues getting the right part (my fault not his) he stuck with me and went the extra mile every step of the way. If you're looking for a salt of the earth gentleman who is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and customer oriented, look no further than Gary. i had a problem with my gas fireplace - the flame was weak and was not getting the heat I used to get from it - I did a google search and found 22 -5 star ratings for Valley Gas - I contacted Gary, sent him some pictures and had him look at the fireplace. Gary was thorough in his assessment and I feel that it was due to his years of experience he was able to pin point the source of the problems, where other less experienced technicians would ( and had ) missed it In no time at all the issues were resolved and the fireplace is now working like it should. Valley Gas came highly recommended to me from a company who didn’t service gas appliances. I contacted Gary who was able to come by later the same day. Gary was prompt, professional and displayed amazing attention to detail for the entire call, explaining things in detail as he went along. Gary was able to identify the problem with our stove even though there were no error codes showing. I was very impressed with his quick response and his ability to come up with the solution and to correct a situation that could have resulted in the stove catching on fire.

Last week our stove broke down. This could not have happened at a worse time as I was having Thanksgiving dinner. When I called Gary he was kind enough to fit me in the same day even though he had a busy day ahead of him. It turned out the bake igniter had broken. He ordered it on the Thursday and the part was to arrive on the Friday. The next day he called me to tell me he received the part however it was broken. He assured me not to worry as he could take the ignitor from the broiler and use it to bake. On Friday afternoon he came over and changed the parts. Thanks to Gary our Thanksgiving dinner went off without any issues. This morning first thing he called me to say he received the replacement part. He said he could come at 11:30am and arrived right on time. Gary did not even charge us for coming and switching the igniters. Although Gary does not normally do things like this he wanted it working for Thanksgiving! Now that is what you call exceptional customer service. We will definitely be using Gary in the future and recommend him to all our family and friends! Oh and by the way he gives a 15% discount on the service call for Georgetown residences.

Gary was able to come out the same day I called to have a look at my gas oven, diagnose the issue and order the part. He returned a few days later to make the repair. His workmanship and service was excellent. Everything was very reasonably priced and I even received a "local" discount on the service call. Called in AM and by 2:00 PM the problem was fixed. Gary the technician/owner was very personable and professional. He had asked over phone for a model number for the oven needing repair and as I was able to provide this info he was able to get the necessary part (igniter) which no doubt helped speed the whole repair process. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting quality work at a very reasonable price. Thanks (namesake) Gary for a great experience.

First of all let me state that I rarely post reviews but Gary's professionalism and fairness cannot go unacknowledged. He quickly scheduled a date and time to assist us with an appliance gas hook up. I can't recommend Gary (Valley Gas) high enough. Very professional, good rates and he explains options and repairs very well. He fixed a burner on my gas stove and the burners/valves on my Weber gas barbecue. He contacted Weber himself to order parts and found out some parts were still under warrantee. Thanks Gary!

Well i have heating issues last 5 years. Finally I have meet Gary. Who came to our house and fix the issues. He work so hard and work with details. He also have a camera and he did documents everything. Which is very nice. He also have very much knowledge about what he’s doing. Our family very much happy AND I highly recommend using his service. It does worth it.
